bike won't start after replacing stator cover

nope it has to be 10 volts = YTZ10S

u may want to try YUASA...they make the factory oem batteries that honda uses

or EBC i think,... they make the batteries too

Dude, I hope you are joking about the 10volt thing. I have never heard of a 10v system, only 6v and 12v. The 6 volt system went away about 50 years ago. All systems are 12 volts.

opps my bad...it is a 12 volt system..was thinking about the voltage when i typed it...the 10 is i believe the size, as in height as i was told. i've compared the 9 to my old 10 battery..and the 9 is fatter and shorter

first thing. U need to do is pull the fuse for the headlights the problem begins with the bike only makes enough power to keep the battery chargeed and only charges at about 5k rpms. And the headlights kills it faster than it can charge it

Why? Why does this happen?! There's a potential doctoral thesis on the psychology behind 1st time posters who don't introduce themselves AND reply to threads that have been "dead" for 10-15 years...
