Default -1 front or +3 rear? Sprocket help.

Hey everyone, I have a situation I'd like some feedback on...

when it comes time for me to change out my chain and sprockets I plan on switching out the gearing for something with a bit more *umph*. Now, I realize that -1 in the front is roughly equal to +3 rear. I just can't decide which one to go with. I don't want to go as extreme as -1/+2, I just want one or the other.

So What are your opinions... -1 front OR +3 rear?

Why not -1/+2 ? You can get a good deal when buying a kit like that. And I don't think it will change the way your bike handles that much.

-1/+2 isnt extreme really and will give you the umph you are looking for. Always could try a -1/+1

Default Start with ...

I moved -1 in the front, and it changed quite a bit, if you are not happy with that you can always go up one tooth up in the rear.
I did this because I was Tired of doing wheelies in 2nd gear @ 90MPH.
now with a little clutch up 2ng gear wheelies are great between 55-65MPH

As of right now, my bike has +2 rear. I like it but am thinking maybe a little extra would be nice.

It's pretty obvious around here that everyone loves their -1/+2. I don't want to go up that much. I do quite a bit of highway to work and am happy with my +2rear and don't want to go up much more in the rpm's.

I appreciate the comments but I don't want -1/+2. I just want to know if you guys were planning on doing either -1front OR +3rear, which one would you do?

I understand its a trivial question but thats just how my brain works. Thanks!

-1 is good enough but for just fucing around -1/+2 is nice other then that its just no point if you run freeway speeds all the time.
