I would keep it stock if you don't want to wheelie or faster take offs.

i went -1 in the front and woke the bike up so much more. i have power in each gear that i normally wouldnt, and i dont have to shift as much to prevent bogging as i would if i had the stock sprocket. i put the stock back on to see how much of a difference it is cuz i was bored, and i hated it. works well on highways too, you have more power to change lanes or make moves that youd normally have to downshift to pull off without hearin it bog.
for it to wheelie in 1st gear i have to whack the throttle a bit for it to come up, but if i gradually get on it the wheel kind just floats up a couple inches and then im at redline already. in 2nd its not a problem either, i could whack the throttle open really hard and the wheel wont come up.
one thing id recommend is the speedohealer so ur speed and odometer are correct and not way higher. for the $100 or whatever its definately worth it, especially if you go to sell it you will have the correct mileage and end up getting more for the bike so in the long run it will pretty much pay for itself.

Really?? Highway driving +5 on the rear?? That is stupid.

I would stick with a 530 chain. It costs more but lasts longer. Stock is good on highways. If you are not into wheeling, I am not. I would not go no more than -1 on the front and leave the rear stock. I would suggest getting a -1 front and a stock sprocket and test out wich one you like better.

I check out my sprockets and seen 14 front & 43 rear for stock, should i just leave it the same--if i take a tooth away from the front would it make the engine spin more quickly---thanks

yea -1 will give the bike more torque, nothing significant though. a front sprocket is only like 20-30 bux, just try one out and itll be like night and day. if you dont like it just swap it back to stock.

Yea sound good but i must get a speedohealer--with 14 ft & 43 rear, don't seem stock but the bike came that way--i think i will go to 16 ft & 43 rear
