06 CBR 600f4i no start issues
I recently bought this streetbike as a project. It was wrecked in the front end with nothing bent. I took it home and tried to start it but I'm not getting any spark and my fuel pump is not kicking on.
I've searched the internet and looked at numerous threads but can't seem to find my problem in any of them. I don't have a multimeter but I do have a light tester and here is what I can come up with.
My lights all come on, horn works, speedo/gauge cluster all works.
I stuck a light tester to my 2 relays on the right rear of the bike here is what I have:
-1st relay power on three wires. No power on solid brown wire. With the key on I can touch the light tester to the brown w/black stripe wire and my fuel pump will kick on.
-2nd relay power on 3 wires no power on red w/white stripe wire. The thin one.
I pulled my plug out to see if I was getting spark by holding it close to the motor and trying to start it but no spark. I unplugged the coil pack and have power on the black/white wire.
I checked the tip over sensor as well. I jumped it out but it wouldn't start. The only wire without power is the green one on it. Which I assume is ground.
I then checked the rectifer and I only have power on the red wires.
Any help would be great but this has me stumped right now. Thanks.

download the service manual, its on this forum, and you will more than likely need to replace the fuel pump if its getting voltage for a few seconds when you hit the run switch. it's pretty black and white on the fuel pump, 12 volts, you can buy a multimeter for 4 dollars.
edit, i just reread that, you say your fuel pump does prime? and what do you mean wouldn't start, the starter doesnt turn the engine over?

Sounds like you have multiple issues since you have no spark and no fuel. I think the sensors like tip over and kickstand won't let the starter turn so it wouldn't be those. Did you check your fuses? If those are good you should download the service manual. It will walk you through testing the fuel pump and ignition system
edit: to perform some of the checks you might need a multimeter to check resistances and not just voltages
