i did check that originally. I had pulled the carbs to tighten the grommets b/c i noticed three of them were so loose you could almost lift them completely off the block!!!!! So i had pulled the whole thing off and might have crimped the line in the process. I also should get my gas cap key made. Seeing as it doesnt seem to have a lot of gas in it to begin with and i'm not able to unlock it to do so. So that might be a culprit as to why it started at first but doesnt start now. I could put the choke on and it would start but then when i would try and blip the throttle to help it would make it die ASAP!
