RE: Throttle sticking
The throttle cable may need adjustment. It is simple. I am quite sure that you can access it through the left fairing service panel. THe cable has a lower and an upper. The lower controls the spring back, the upper controls the response. When the upper is adjusted more tightly than the lower it will not spring back properly. You must adjust the cables using the lock nuts and make sure that you set the lower tighter than the upper. Then adjust the upper to how you like your throttle response. Make sense, you'll see when you get there.

RE: Throttle sticking
i spent 3 hours working on my throttle today because it wouldnt spring back it all. what i learned is that your cables need to be strecthed out and not coiled. i had the carbs off and when i hooked up the cables and pulled them so they were straightened out and not under any tension the throttle popped back like it was suppose to. also, its worth taking your grip off just to see things better. mine was rubbing against the kill switch area and was causing the throttle to stick as well. hopefully this will help someone cause it shouldnt be complicated if you know what to look for, needless to say i didnt....haha

RE: Throttle sticking
i found with my 93 600f that the 90 degree bend on the cable located at the throttle handle just needed to be moved side to side until i found a position that it would return in. just loosen it with a spanner and change its position until you find it returning. hope that helps ya
