APE is really the only option, and there is a zero percent failure rate.

just installed my APE CCT about to start it up, but realized that i didn't release the "lock nut" at the end of the CCT and used it as my "finger tightening" should i have just used the shaft of the screw to tighten finger tighten with? and then unlocked the lock nut and tightened it down? I have some crazy hand/grip strength is it safe to just go til there is tension start the bike then listen for it to rattle and turn til stopping?

i have a 93 cbr600 f2 and i never saw this part, i just had to replace my whole lower engine case because of an f up on my part trying to do a burnout, but never saw this. what side is the part on? the right? looking from the front or the back????

It's on the right side of the back of the cylinder head, where your cam chain is.

I just found a used ape for my bike on ebay. Is it bad to buy used. It supper sweet because its located in my city so I am just going to pick it up.
