They should replace that. Mine never looked like that. But other that the top fairing, the sides and the tail are going to look great. Your rims will be a good match too!

How different do you think the shock will feel after new oil and charge? The fork oil I have will work since its 5wt.

Don't know. It depends on how bad the shock is, and then your weight and if you're running the OEM spring.

No I won't respring it just not in the budget, but I would replace worn seals if necessary. Its got 30k on the clock and was stunt bike in its prior life. I had read about porting the valve to gain performance, but didn't get much info.

Fairings look good, I can not wait to get mine. I am doing the same style but possibly going to go titanium instead of white.

How is the fairing and subframe paint holding up. I believe you used bedliner right? What brand did you use if so?

. I used duplicolor truck bed liner I believe, I found a great deal on it online from a local vendor called zoro tools. They had free shipping at the time so I jumped on it.
As far as the level of abuse I'd say so so. the frame is hanging with the motor in it from engine hoist and where I used the ratchet straps on bare the finish rubbed off. I tried to get past the lack of adhesion by using etching primer but eh what can you do. As far as coverage I bought 4 cans and used for two and a half.

Quick question input new bearings in the rear wheel and ordered two of the same size bearings. Seems that was the wrong move because one side is smaller than the other. Are the seals the same story?

I remover the charge out of the rear shock got the circlips out and am currently searching for a but that will thread over Schrader valve to protect the threads. Any ideas on pitch ? I've come up with nuthing .

New update as well I bought levers for the girl on fleaBay for 20 bucks. The brake side fit in like a glove but the clutch perch was destroy, i got frustrated. Any ideas as to why this side was so tight. The perch came off my parts bike which had been beaten to death two or three times.bbutbi didn't see any obvious damage just a mismatched bolt as a keeper.

I am still waiting on the swingarm hope my bro gets it back to me soon.

I hope you were able to get more work done. Keep posting up pictures and I look forward to seeing your bike come together. I have been busy over the past couple days working on mine as well. Just trying to get the small details out of the way before the bigger projects come up which are starting to creep up on me.

It has been a waiting game with parts, and just finding time. I had enough time yesterday to to get the majority of the harness plugged in, mounted the power commander, the new clutch perch, and levers.

I dropped off the swingarm to PC, and the good news is when I get home the seals for brakes should be there. Bad news I'm on call and have to run to the city.. Ugh.

Here's some pics of progress looks about the same lol.

For those who are more skilled in the suspension department, how can you test the shock bladder for leaks? It just comes apart outside of the tube, making it difficult to do a submersion tested. All well I replaced the Schrader valve and will order the seals tonight.
