I took my bike to the local stealership about a week ago. I had the CCT changed and it is still making that clicking noise. I don't think it is as bad as before, but I can still hear it. Should I be concerned that they didn't do the job right or is this all in my head?

Did they replace it? Gawd please don't tell me they, "rebuilt" it... ?

Well, if it's making noise, they didn't do **** and charged you for it. Assuming it was the CCT to begin with

Well the CCT if it is going bad can cause cam chain noise. But it might be loose valves and might need a valve adjust. Could be injector being fired which they are quite noisy. The CCT is hard to change on the 954. When i did my valves i had to drop the front of the motor slightly to gain better access to the one mounting bolt since Honda was nice enough to have the frame wrap around the motor at that point and not leave any room for servicing!

 

Hard to service? Took me 15 min to put in a manual cct. Maybe i should get a job at Kid's new shop
