Default rattling/buzzing sound on my 954

I have a 2002 954 and at first this sound started and it was just everynow and then when I got to redline or higher RPMs and it was just a faint rattleing/buzzing sounds of what sounds like change in a cup holder of a car going down the road,...now it's almost constant thru our my riding except on decel and very low rang rpms (between 1 and 4) does any one have any clue? it sounds like its coming from the front of the bike but I'm tightened all my fairings and checked the headlights from what I could get 2 without pulling everything off. Has anyone else had this happen? PLEASE PM and let me know if you know what I'm talkin about.

Thanks, James[/align]

every bike I have ever had has had some sort of faint, brief buzz somewhere in the powerband on harder acceleration. I doubt that helps you any though

just the vibration.. right tone/frequancy.. these are high revin'g engines taht cause alot of vibration.. i would look over the bike and tighted everything .. everything seems good i woudlnt' worry about it to much unless it gets really loud or you notice something else

if you ride wheelies check the stabilizer pins on your headlight they tend to wear out..

I have this very same vibrationsound in my 2002; 954 Model. Last summer I tried to find out from where itmight come. Have anyone taken away the exup and fasten the airflap in the airbox? I can feel the vibrationsound on all gears from 2-5 between 5000 - 7000 rpm. When I put the 6th gear and keep going around 7000 rpm the vibration is away. I have a feeling it has to do with the constuction of the exup and airflap in the airbox.

Thanks for good ideas, Finn
