New tires...what's the best air pressure
I just put on some new Bridgestone BT-016's front and rear. I know the manual says 36psi, but am wanting some input from others. I do pretty aggresive city riding with a fair share of canyon carveing. Don't ride in rain, weigh 170 lbs, want more contact patch versus long tire life.
Thanks for your input!!!

Depends a bit on ambient temps, av running speed and road quality.
All affect how much the tyre heats up.
With days of 25 C and above I run 33 psi when riding hard; and 38 in the front; measured cold of course, and this is for lots of high speed straights and hard cornering. On the track, 30 psi rear.
