Default tires pressure

I just wanted to pass the word on this. I had noticed my bike was feeling alittle wierd for like three weeks. Like I had no front end. When I was in a turn just didn't seem normal at all. But everything looked fine. Then I got the idea to check the tire pressure. I was under the24 front and the30 rear! Got the compressor out and filled the tires to the correct psi. Took it out again, it was back to how it should have felt like. The whole thing about this was the tires looked fine, didn't look like they were under inflated. Its a learning lesson for me. Now on i'm going to be checking once a month. Damn that was dangerous.

That reminds me, I think I forgot to put my valve stem caps back on the last time I got air, because they're both missing.[sm=headbang.gif]

I didn't check my bike when i first bought it. 2 weeks later i decided to check them. They looked fine so i never checked it. They were at 16 psi both tires!!! I put air in them and now the bike ride totally different. Turns better, accelerate better, stops better, bike does not slow down as fast when you get off the throttle. It was new riding experience. Check your pressure!

What do you guys normally inflate your tires to? 42/34? R/F I hear it varies between tires and rider. I am not sure what i am supposed to expect in my tires. The recommended Honda pressure is 42-34 if i recall correctly. I am about 200lbs and 6 foot. Does anyone know what would be a good compromisable tire pressure for street riding?
thanks
