Is a 929 aftermarket exhaust canister compatible with a 954? According to Two Brothers and Bike Bandit they don't appear to be the same (based on part numbers) but they certainly look similar. Assuming it does fit, would it affect the performance of the 954?

 

THe exhaust is the same for both bikes.

I was just looking for the exhaust canister as my current one was rashed up from the previous owner. I was able to get a used OEM off ebay, but thanks for the offer.
