hey moto, check out the link posted by pimpn above, it's a great find with heaps of good info. Taken from McNews.com.au:

"Honda latest anti-theft system features a fail-safe electronic interlock that prevents the engine from being started by any other than the motorcycle's two original keys. The keys are actually micro-chipped to the ECU and without that electronic signature being recognised by the computer the bike can't be started. This system also features a blinking red LED built into the instrument panel."

I guess it only matters if someone tries to hotwire the bike, but I just like the flashy light thingy.

Yeah, most european bikes have a security system, have a different EFI calibration, and often have different lights and reflectors.

Just "CBR" on the tail looks too plain. I think the "954" should be there as well.

I took all the stickers off the tail fairing on mine... it looks soooo much cleaner
