Default European Model vs American Model

Can anyone tell me the difference between the European model 954 and the US one? I'm thinking I might have the European model as it has a "passing" switch on the left hand grip for flashing the lights.

If it matters I bought the bike second hand in Australia.

Theres alot of differnces, alot of which are not seen with the eyes, LoL...First off ALL European models were labeled "FireBlade" nowhere on the decals does it say 954. Also, European models had better color schemes than the US models.....Now, in the US we have EPA standards that ALL vhicles on the road must meet. Which means we have all this polution crap but on or bikes. California even has to have the O2 sensors on them (california law)...Basically with all the added pollution control crap added to the bikes, this takes away some HP because these are LIMITING our bikes.....European bikes dont have all that crap. And they even look better....This is why European is so great, hehe....=-)

That color scheme is hot, but thats probably only because its rare to us. I bet in Europe, they love the color schemes of our Bikes in the US.

That is probably true. Maybe its time for some custom paint to change things up a little.

not trying to be a dick but it looks like the fairing is bulging at the bottom like those cheap fiberglass fairings on ebay would do... could be the angle of the photo though I'm not accusing

Hey VP if you talkin bout the first pic that kinda looks like the exhaust to me...thats just my oppinion not tryna start anything . I do like the blue scheme and the yellow schemes actually thought about goin threw tape works and creatin my own color scheme but since i lowered and stretched mine i did away wit that idea. I think the european bike had a second led light on the tach.....i could of swore i saw it on a euro'd 954 but just cant remember where i saw that picture at. Hey ramar just get on google and research from there, wikipedia is a good site and they usually go over the different type of models....matter a fact im gonna wikipedia the 954!

as far as i know, minus CA models, all 54's are the same less paint design???-US has emission issues,EUROPE has noise
