how to distinguish a european model???
Yea, the visual differences are that our standard paint schemes are different and we also have the grab rail on the back unlike the USA's F4 model. Also we don't have the reflector plates on the front forks or mudguard, can't remember which it is atm, but we don't have it. I'm not sure, but I also think the dash lights for the indicator lights (turn signal/blinkers, whatever you wanna call them lol) are amber on the USA's F4, but green on the F-X (1999) model. Apart from that i can't remember without looking. Hope that helps.
Oh and just as an add in, I've seen the topic in the forum about the running lights and we don't have running lights in the indicators (where the indicators are permanently on until you begin to indicate and they flash). Our indicators only come on when they flash to indicate. Note: I don't know if all USA's F4 models have the indicator running lights as standard, but we definitely don't have running lights for our indicators.
