954 holds its own for sure. My modded 954 takes a few of my friends liter bikes in the straights even and easily through the twisties. But it ultimately comes down to the rider, I have a friend that races in the wera circuit and I cannot keep up with him in the twisties when I am on his race bike and he is on my 954 lol

Best liter bike ever. Light weight, similar to 600. Usable power in all ranges, great handling and balance, superb brakes, often get 42-45 mpg, very comfortable ergos, 400 mile days no problem. A useable trunk to store essentials, a helmet lock, strap a small bag on the rear seat and it makes a sport tourer. A terrific all round bike.

i bought my 954 with a PCIII usb, and a two brothers half system and -1 +2 chain from a buddy of mine, because he wanted t *upgrade* to a 2008 cbr1000rr. he now has a slip on and -1 +1 chain on his 1000 and he doesnt touch me. ive ridden his 1000rr, and i hate it. its uncomfortable IMO. feels a bit bulkier and just not as much power.

Good morning here from Brazil I currently have a very new CBR 600 F4i, with 19,800 km But I always had the dream of owning a bigger one. In this case, through research, I got here, and I am seriously thinking about going to CBR 954. How does it compare to the F4i, in terms of comfort, handling? In the other questions I know that it has more torque, average power. Any warning or recommendation about this exchange, thank you.
