There's an annoying clicking and tapping sound coming from my 954 02 once I switch the ignition on.
While riding the tapping gets continuous and loud. Please any solutions will be welcomed . I, heard its a usual sound with the 954.

 

When you say ''once I switch the ignition on'', do you mean, ignition on, but engine not started?

I'm not familiar with the 954 engine, but most Honda models suffer from weak cam-chain tensioners.

I would recommend you use the search function on the task bar and see what you find.

I'm sure someone with direct knowledge of the 954 will be along shortly and will also help. Just be patient, it's a busy time of year

I have had 2 Honda 919 Hornets and they both had that clicking. I read on another forum that it is the injectors. I put some Berryman Fuel System Rejuvenator in the tank and the clicking stopped immediately. WOW - what a difference.
