Default Break Rotors

My bike has about 7k miles on it. There is a lot of pad left but Im noticing the front squeaks at stop lights. and there are some fairly deep groovs in one of the front rotors.

How do you go about getting your rotors resurfaced or do you?

napa or a a real bike shop for turning the rotors?

Thanks.

i would call your local motorcycle dealer and see if they can mic and turn your rotors. they might tell you that they can't or advise against it. i have no idea, when i was faced with the same problem i decided to upgrade to wave rotors. sorry i couldn't be of more help

yeah but i also threw on new pads and stainless lines. HUGE improvement over stock. as far as the rotor change alone, i dont know if the stopping distance is drastically improved but the brakes dont get nearly as hot. even when riding hard, there is almost no brake fade. kinda pricey upgrade but i figured that if i spend money to go faster might as well spend it to stop quicker too.
