600 Rim & Rotors -> 1000F rim & rotors
I was wondering if the 600 front rims & rotors, and the 1000f from rims & rotors were the same because they look indentical.
Here is listing on ebay and it looks exactly like my rim.
Anyone know?

Since I have an 87, my front rim is the same as the 600's?
If so, I hope you are right, because I may base that information on whether or not I buy that rim, if it isn't the same size I will be upset lol.
BTW, I had about $2500 saved up back in feb this year, I could not for the life of me find a hurricane. I found one today, mint with no broken plastics, 11k miles, for 1700. I am so upset right now

It's always the way mate. If I buy anything expensive now, I don't look at the market for a good six months or so, 'cos I know I'll find something better and cheaper

Anyone know for sure about the rim? I have the money been sitting the bank all week don't know how long the rim is going to be posted >_>.
I had a little wider tire put on my front and rear when I had the work done last year.
Here is a link to a more dirty rim but it illustrates the 88 600F1 front rim.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-Ho...ht_5023wt_1116
On that rim, it shows a tire 120/60Z R17, on my rim at home, I have 120/70Z R17. Based off that, would it be safe to say the tire will fit the rim? I am worried about the rotor sizes too, can anyone confirm any of this?

Why not look it up in the manual - all the specs are there..................
if you go to
www.blackbears.ru the manual for the 600 and 1000 can be downloaded.

Hey:
Its been a while.
The 600 wheel may not be the same as they may have a different offset as they had a different front fork setup. I know for a fact that the 87-88 600F1 rotors are totally different from the 87-88 1KF as they are smaller in dia. same thickness, so they will not work without a lot of mods to the caliper hangers. Plus the won't give a very good stopping after the mod as they are meant for less weighty bikes than the 1KF. What do you need, as I may be able to help you.
