Default Slipping Clutch?

Rode my 01 929 yesterday and noticed it felt like the clutch was slipping when starting from a stand still. Once I am rolling it runs fine and still has all the power. Any sugestions? Also, has anyone replaced a clutch and where did you buy it from? Thanks...

as was said, check you're adjustments. if they're ok, pull the clutch cover, remove the plates and measure with a caliper. if you need specs i can find them, or you can download the manual (see link below). If you have to order a new clutch, I would go OEM. Don't forget: the clutch on this bike has 7 "common" fiber plates and 2 "unique" fiber plates. of the 2 uniques, one has a large inner diameter to fit around the judder spring, and the other unique has a different composition (i think) so it doesn't score the aluminum pressure plate. when doing the clutch job, hit the metal plates with 400grit sand paper to removing the glassing.
