Question clutch Lever?? CLUTCH slipping?

ok so i was driving back from work and while shifting up the bike, it seemed to grab the gear very slowly. i want to say it felt soggy. instead of wamp! it was like wammmmmmp. i did notice that when i pulled in the clucth lever it did not return all the way back, and i could push it back about a half an inch. could this be the issue? like its not fully grabing the clutch plates? how do i tighten that cable? pictures would help. any info would help!

There are two clutch adjustment locations. One is at the clutch lever. The other one is located here:

The easiest is tightening the adjustment at the clutch lever. If you have it tightened up and still having issues, you'll have to use the adjustments on the side of the motor pictured above.

if the clutch lever has play in it and your clutch is slipping then its time for a new clutch
