Default oil & filter change

Hi everyone , i'm doing a oil & filter change on my 2001 929rr1 & was wondering how much oil i need to put back in , this is the very 1st time i've done a oil & filter change on any vehical as i usually take it to a garage but this time i've decided to tackle it myself , if anyone on here could tell me how much oil to put back in as i don't want to overfill it then i would be very gratefull , plus if you have any other tips then i would also be gratefull for them as well , not started doing the oil & filter change yet , just got all the fairing off ready , thanks for looking & any replies that i get

3.7 qts or 3.5L.
Use motorcycle oil with JASO-MA specification.

No need to take the fairing off. You can get the filter off through the right side. Cover the exhaust to keep oil from getting on the pipes.

thanks for your reply , the fairing is already off as i've just fitted a new stator to the bike so i thought whilst it was in bits then i'd do the oil & filter change , you haven't told me how many ltrs of oil to put back in , i think it's about 4 ltrs but not 100% sure
