all you need is a screw driver and 8/10mm socket for the radiator man, the other work will not be that easy.

ok guys so i did everything and now im even more confused.... first of all i wanna say the spark plugs are 1000 times easier going from the top then from the radiator... you dont need to remove the gas tank u can just lift it up... i used bungy cords to hold it by attaching the ends to my exhaust....

coolant changed and good to go... just one question: do i need to put in more coolant after i let the engine run and the coolant goes down???

now the fan switch overheating problem,... so i touched the wire against the radiator and the fans went on... now when i changed the fan switch and connected everything i ran the bike and it STILL overheating and the fans arent going on... i feel like this is never going to end.... what do i do?!

what is the temperature when it is overheating?
did you use teflon tape or anything on the threads of the switch?

yes, the radiator should be full.

is the radiator hot to the touch?
did you connect the ground wire from the fan bolt to the frame mount?

there should be a wire that goes from the fan mounting bolt to the mount on the frame. if thats not there, the switch wont turn the fan on because its not grounded.

I really like the blue and white look you have on your bike. Very nice.

if you go back to the picture before.. the only wire i see or at least was looking for was the wire that goes into the fan switch..... when i touched it against the radiato.r like you advised me to the fans automatically turned on right away.... now that i changed the fan switch it still isnt going on... can you take a picture please man and show me what exactly i should look for and where it is.. im getting so nervous that i wont be able to figure this out

no pic of that. my bike is together. but look on the fan itself. there should be a wire that goes to the frame. if not you need to make one to ground the radiator.

you never answered the question about the radiator getting hot. does it? it will be cool, then as it warms up,it will get hot fairly quickly as the thermostat opens. this is very important info. we need to know exactly whats its doing to properly diagnose the problem.
