This happened to me once when I was riding with a group, and it was 90-95 degrees out. The bike stalled out if I didn't give it enough gas. The bike simply isn't getting enough oxygen I would assume... At least thats what my friends said.
That same day, the bike crapped out on me and wouldn't start because it completely melted the starter solenoid, from what I assume is a short. See this thread, and check your solenoid to make sure it isn't that: https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-900rr...ed-out-147218/

its more frequent?
whats the air temperature where you live??it could be a couple things and completely on the opposite end of the spectrum of each other..
is the bike stock?? does it have a k/n filter? pipe?
have you checked you battery at the end of a ride to see if its running high? you caould have a faulty rectifer.. or getting to little air/fuel mixture..
we need more details...
its all in the details..
when was the last time you tuned her up?
i asked someone this earlyier, but it does make a difference especially with what your asking, has the bike always lived where you are now, what your elevation?
