Lately I have been having some issues with my bike, sometimes when I start it up and put it in gear it just dies I know it's something electrical but I just got the bike and I'm not really sure where to start, last night one of the guys I ride with started messing with some wires by the left foot peg and we got it to go, we were guessing possibly a sensor for the kick stand or maybe a sensor for the clutch?

 

Sounds like kickstand sensor. To test clutch sensor, out bike in rear stand and start it in gear with out the clutch pulled in and kickstand up. If it starts then the clutch sensor is bad. But most likely its the kickstand.

 

Yup it was the kick stand good to know its nothing major
