Default noise

Hi there, i am new to the fireblade, so i am not sure exactly what to expect from it, power wise, and i seem to have a lite metalic clicking sound when putting the motor under load.
I have a 1200 Bandit, and it seems to offer much more tork than the Blade ?
Does that sound right to you guys, or have i brought a Nail, lol.

I just bought a 900rr that does the same thing. Its similar to a lifter noise and faint. I'm also curious about this myself.

The only noise I hear from my '93 is a soft, vibrating sound and it is from my gas tank that is not bolted down all the way.

The former owner put it back but not perfectly.

Other than that I have no noise. Maybe it is your cam chain tensioner?

Has the bike ever had the valve clearances checked? Maybe it is time to do so.

It sounds like the cam chain tensioner lifter. They go out on the blades, just like the regulator/rectifiers.

MT and Stynk nailed it, it's the CCT. If you have the funds, go with an ape.
