I know I will probably get yelled at for making this thread. Im pretty sure its the cct thats making the noise but wanted to get your opinions before I order the part. The bike is an 03 and it starts making a rattling noise right before 3k rpms and gets quieter before 4k. After 4k it still rattles but not noticeable. It does not make the noise until it is warmed up and it does not make the noise in neutral. Thank you in advance for your opinions.

 

Welcome. To test if its the cctl, put the bike in neutral and rev it up to 5500 rpm and hold for a second. You should hear all kinds of rattling. If not your problem noise is something else.
