Default Front Fork Alignment

Does anyone have a good way to align the front forks? I tried to line them up with a tape, but they still seem a little off, even visually. I’ve thought about lifting the rear on the bike stand, and lifting from the center with a bike jack, then lower it down with the front end straight with maybe a block of wood under the front tire to help level it out, might do it. Or even a small level across the triple tree. It’s bugging me, and I have a long ride this weekend, and want to get it lined out. Thanks

I did mine with two stands and a block floor jack.. i got two PITBULL stands its the kind that goes under the tripple tree in the frontwhere the steering berrings are. then i put the jack under the tire and loosened all the bolts on the tripple trees. jacked it up and then tightened it back that was it and it came out good. At the same time i allso changed my top tripple tree to billit rides better i think.....

don't try a small car jack in the middle of the bike, with the bike on a back tire stand. Got it lined out, had a buddy lift up on the front, while I a small mectic ruler. I'm thinking adjusting the hardness to the same on both side might be helpful too. Just got a head of myself putting the front forks back in, so I could ride it.
