Go back to the dealer and see what they will do.
99.9% of the time when you buy it from a dealer you signed a paper saying your Taking it AS IS (considering it's a used bike).
Therefore they are not liable, them not mentioning it during sales just means they're shady bastards and watch closely to the business you do with them in the future if any.

I did, I already told them about it and cancelled an order for frame sliders, swingarm bobbins, and the installation. They're not touching my bike again.

so who's the dumb one? the seller or you for paying more bling for an integrater when you could've just gotten another socket and soldered that?

little bit of both, but at a point frustration wins out over good frugal sense, and like i said, if i can just get one of you guys to come out and solder up my exhaust for me so I have an excuse...........
