i must be realy stupid i have worked on dirtbnikes my entire life but i cant figure a streetbike out for the life of me. does anyone know where the bank angle sensor is on an 02cbr 600f4i. or can somebody take a picture of what it loos like for me and post it so i know.. thanks..

 

you have to take off the upper cowl to get to it. from the windscreen (inside), follow it all the way down, it's a little black box, at the end of the windscreen (where V), behind the cluster.

i looked and there is no box.. i have all the fairings off because im in the process of replacing them and there is no black box.. i dont know im so confused now.. thanks anyways

What do you want it for? If it runs without it or with it and you cant find it..........who cares?

 

oh you know what? you bought it used right? the previous owner could've just bypassed it or remounted it elsewhere so it's better suited for the track.

 

you said it runs with or without it.. then if thats not the problem whut else could it be? i did by it used it had an alarm on it and some stupid switch to start it instead of the push button. i took all the alarm crap off could that be a problem. ther alarm wasnt hook up though but when i cut a yellow/red and red wire all the sudden the gauges lit up. its really wierd. maybe i need to re wire it or something. i really do appreciate all your guys help. im slowly but shurley figuring this bike out. thats why i hate buying used **** b/c people never really tell you everything. haha
