RE: ? might be a dumb ?
WELL IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET YOU CAN REMOVE THE TOP TRIPLE TREE CLAMP AND PLACE YOUR STOCK BARS UNDERNEATH THE TOP TRIPLE TREE. LIKE YOUR PREVIOUS COMMENT ABOVE YOU WILL RUN INTO HITTING THE FAIRING, SO DO LIKE I DID, BUT REALLY DOESN'T ADD MUCH MORE TURN RATIO AND THAT'S TAKE A ROTO ZIP AND CUT OUT THE AREA THAT COVERS THE FUSE BOX AND THE SAME PLACE ON THE OTHER SIDE. YOU WILL HAVE A LITTLE MORE TURN RADIUS. I HAVE DONE THIS ON MY BIKE, BUT SINCE I DO ALOT OF TRACK TIME AND RACING I AM MORE PRONE TO TIP IT IN MORE THAN THE AVERAGE RIDER SO THE TURN RADIUS DOES NOT BOTHER ME. I RIDE THIS BIKE, WHILE SAVING FOR A NEWER RACE BIKE, NO SENSE PUTIING ALOT ON MONEY IN THIS BIKE ONLY USE IT TO KEEP IMPROVING MY SKILL AND RIDING THIS BIKE ON THE EDGE GIVING THE GUYS WITH NEW BIKE A CHALLENGE
HOPE THIS HELP YOU SOME.

Just sit further back and get your head down,
and get some rear set foot rests that should do the job
Why oh why f**k up a good bike lowering the bars??? [][]
If HONDA thought the bike rode better with the bars lower they would have put them there themselves.
and don't go cutting up good fairings.
I'm 6' 2' and have no bother getting my head down on a 1991 fm model 140mph+
can't be accurate with speedo though
lower the bars and you'll run into problems with stability, and if you end up with a tank slapper it don't bear thinkin about[X(]
