Default Gas mileage on sprocket conversions

Hello to all this is my first post and i love the website. I have learned so much from everybody and love all the opinions.
Ok to my question, does having a -1 +2 effect gas mileage that much because i have a 05 CBR 600 RR and i want a little more power because i don't need to be doing 140+ mph. I am looking into it and i want a little feedback on it. Thanks to everyone.
