What EXACTLY do i need?
what if i want a aftermarket tail?
my 96 cbr f3 is a street fighter so i might want to put the fairing back on....but for now i want to start with the tail because i hate the boxy look..

Do i have any other tail conversion options.....im looking for a simple coversion

I did the f2/f3 to 97 f3 tail conversion. I bought the following

Seat
Left rear, right rear and top rear fairing pieces.
Rear light
Under tray

The 97 light won't mount to the f2/f3 mounts so the undertray is of vital importance. It's a really easy swap, I did it after dumping my bike and trashing my fairings, so when buying new I though why the hell not.

I tried attacking my old light mount with a dremel but it wasn't for adapting at all. Also, if you've dropped your bike and the tail is out *even a fraction* mounting the left and right rears to the top piece is a son of a bitch.
