RE: removing decal
Hey Champ...
Yea dude have a look in the DIY section eh, it seems pretty easy althou i havent done it myself. Simple heat gun pulls it off, then use a product of your choice to remove the glue thats left over on the faring..
Only problem being, the decal on the tank might be a bit of a problem, most the CBR's decal on the tank is clear coated over...can still remove them but need to get the tank buffed back and then clear coated again
hope that helps but check it out in DIY
Cheers!

RE: removing decal
Just to let you know. I do custom decals on bikes, business windows you name it I do it as a side job. With mine, all I did is cut a piece of red vinyl that most matched the color of the tank and covered the section. Unless your in the business I am in, you wouldnt see it. Just letting you know, cheap easy way to get it done. Gl man

RE: removing decal
use an exacto knife and go along the very edge of the decal to cut throu the clear and then use a hair drier to head and peel it off. after you can use 2000 grit sant paper to smooth and the use mcguires polish to bring back finished look, you wont see the spot unless your looking for it. mcguires is at any auto store and it has many steps use step 1,2,and the the carnuba wax that they sell, also when sanding do it with water and not too much you can always sand more later if needed but you can't un sand it. I did this to mine and it looks like new you can see it under mellows final pics.
