I just got this 2003 cbr600rr about 2 weeks ago. Has a new battery. 10600 miles. I was driving about 25mph in 2nd and I pulled the clutch in and it just shut off, everything no lights, gauges nothing. Tried turning it on annd off, kill switch, nothing. So i pushed it over to a parking lot and let and came back a couple hours ago and it started right up and I drove it home. It was probely about low 80's today. I checked the Battery and it was giving high 12 volts. And it started so I know it isn't the battery. I don't know if its just a loose wire or a temp sensor. I don't think its the regulator because when my f4 would blow those it would still turn on, just wouldn't start. Any ideas??????

 

I see you got it started. I thought the story sounded very familiar.

 

Loose battery terminal wires? Faulty kickstand cutoff safety switch?

 

If it was the stand safety switch the lights and everything still would have came on. Just wouldn't of cranked. Sounds like a bad connection somewhere.
