Purchased the bike friday, road it home, took it out for ride saturday morning, saturday afeternoon i go out to ride it put key in, ignition comes on, press the ignition switch and nothing happens, can anyone please help me! Im guessing its something to do with the immobiliser because nothing clicks or makes any noise, its just like theres electricity there but just nothing and i mean nothing happens when the ignition is pressed. any advice or info will be much appreciated.

 

Don't have the old "Kill Switch" on do you?

 

I dont think i have it on as i havent touched or fiddled with anything after i rode it in the morning, is the the red power kill switch on the right hand side of the handle bar?

 

ya its the red switch and make sure the bikes in nuetral if you have the kick stand down.

 

^ yea what they said. sounds like you have a common mistake issue that most new riders experience. make sure the bike is in neutral, kill switch in the run position. now when you turn the key with the kill switch in the off position you will not hear the fuel pump prime, when its in the run position you will... so that is usually a dead give away. always listen for the fuel pump you can't miss it

 

Thanks for the messages but ive tried the above numorous times. Had someone look at it today and he put it down to the alarm so looks like a need a mechanic electrian to take look.
