Is the bike in neutral? Try flipping the kill switch to on.

every once and a while, like this morning, when I hit the start button it just clunks. Everything dims. I hear something under the seat click pretty loud. When I release the start button my fuel pump primes again. I will keep trying but still the same clunk noise. Eventually the bike will turn over like there was nothing wrong. Let me know if yours sounds like the same problem.

Sounds like your battery is low or just about dead.

Sounds like a bad ground to the starter or battery. The 'click' sound is the starter-relay. Follow the wires from the battery, checking all of the connections for
loose and/or corrosion.
