so i was finishing up a day of riding with some of my buddies, we went on a 15 mile ride and hit up the back roads for a few wheelies. anyway when i was less than a mile away from my house i stopped at the gas station and when i was pulling in the motor just shut off.........still had electrical power just no motor. now when i try to start it, it doesnt start. fuel pump is still sounding, starter is still kicking, gauges are still w0rking.......any ideas before i take it in? 2001 f4i.

 

I'm guessing it's not your kick stand either

 

Check Your Fuses/ Look for any loose connections in wire harness

 

yeah check the fuses. if you're doing wheelies it's possible you knocked something loose. try to start it with the headlight fuse pulled as that's what was wrong with my bike.

 

no its not the kickstand. as soon as it shut off on me i looked down to see if i had somehow let the k.s. down but nope.
