Cbr600fx leaking tap
My cbr600fx is being a pain, I filled it up with a view to commuting.
Got home to a faint whiff of petrol.
It was damp from the flange to the tap, tap off and no oring/seal, no internal filter etc.
I got a almost fitting oring from the local shop and it didn't work
Then I managed to get two oe rings from eBay
Fitted it and it was better but still leaking, I'd done it up pretty tight and it appears too tight as the nut came away from the tap
Is the FX tap appears to be unique and no longer available I've bought a cbr900 one, it's a vacuum type so I'll run it in the reserve setting.
The standard nut for the tap is M22 and I'm hoping the one I've bought is the same, it arrives Monday but I'm at work
