Default Leaky petcock?

Im on my phone currently so i cant use the search function , but i have searched this issue in the recent past and couldnt find anything on it, forgive me if there are already threads on it.

So basically i have a fuel leak. the leak isnt coming from any of the fuel lines nor is it coming from the carbs or the fuel pump. im 99% sure its the petcock. my issue isnt really finding the leak, im trying to find out if there is any way to fix it without havng to buy a whole new petcock in the first place. there arent any visible cracks or damage but the thing just codtantly drips fuel... the rate at which its leaking is miniscule and take 1 - 2 days of leaving the bike in the same spot without running it to even have any evidence of the leak ,other than smell, on the floor. i have tried "liquid steel" epoxy to try and seal it to no avail. anyone have any suggestions ? And what do you guys think could have caused that in the first place ? Ive had her for about a year and the leak just randomly started about a month ago. thanks for any replies and help i greatly appreciate it!

Hi I have the same problem .
https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-1000f...p-leak-139079/

I've not got inside yet to see if my tap is repairable but I think that maybe the next step. Sprock put me on to a site where I can get a new one for 2/3 the UK price so maybe thats your way forward as well.

The petcock on F3s are riveted and really aren't serviceable. In addition, there are no rebuild kits for them. You might and I stress might be able to find one from another bike and then rivet it back together.

Yeah it's a non service-able flavor (its riveted as marc said so a rebuild is pretty much impossible), so I just had to buy a new one. Thanks all.
