Woo! Hooked up the gauges, battery, and handlebars today, and tried to start the bike up. Nothing. Started going down the checklist. Got all the way to the end and still nothing, so I walk to the front of the bike, and had completely forgotten to plug the starter button in [&:]... May end up needing a new battery, had this one on a trickle charge for a day and it wasn't enough to turn it over, had to hook up a portable jump starter and that worked fine. If the weather is nice tomorrow I'll put the gas tank back on and see if I can get her to idle. Very excited that it's all coming together so quickly and I hope I haven't jinxed anything by posting this
