oh ok well ill take it to one of them then.. see whats up with it

but how much life can you keep breathing into an old battery.. i might as well get a new one sooner or later..

They both should fit, as long as it fits you application.

Batteries are charged every time you ride. Some can be recharged more than others. A load test and a leak down test will determine if it's any good or not.

I personally just bought a new one when I got mine, a higher powered better quality one, so I knew EXACTLY what and how long it'd been used. That's just me though, I do it with bought cars as well. I prefer that feeling of "I know it'll work A1 because it's new" as opposed to waiting for it to die and let me down on a long jounrey. However, 73Demon and others are right, do a charge test on it, as you could be wasting money you quite obviously haven't got on a new battery when all you need is to kick start your normal one.

Could be a dodgy regulator as well.
