Default WIRE PROBLEM!

I had this problem that every time i put the bike into gear it shut off like the sidestand was on. then i cut the two power wires and jumped them then when i pulled my clutch in the sidestand came on. then i cut all the wires and jumped the ground to the G/W power and left the other power open. Worked like a charm. But now It blow out my R/R or somthing because the bike just died when riding and wont stay charged, If i grounded out the other power would this fix my problem, Any help would be great thanks.

I went with the factory because I wanted to plug it in and go. I have read on here wh.ere guys have used the gsxr r/r with success. It just takes some hacking of the wire harness though. If you search for gsxr regulator/rectifier, you should find some threads on it.
