Default Gauge/Wire Problem

Well I recently repaired my F4i after an accident. The gauge cluster/tach will not work. Whenever the key is in the off position or out of the ignition I can see the the 'FI' light is slightly illuminated and I can see the Trip A on the cluster is barely visible.

I do remember it started to do something like this before the accident. I rememer that I used a zip tie and tied the wire against the back of the cluster and it worked perfect then. Now I'm not having the same luck.

Also I wired up my new undertail tail lights. Now when I hit the brake the 'N' and 'FI' light will illuminate only when I depress the brake lever. The 'N' and 'FI' lights were functioning normally before this but still the cluster itself was not working.

So do I just need a new gauge cluster or what?

I had an idea of what it could be. I'm gonna take a look at it after work. I noticed from a picture that it could be a loose connection on the interior of the cluster. Hopefully that's it haha.

Ok I found out what the problem was. I took the gauge apart and one of the connectors was unplugged. Easy fix!
