Default Is there a way to adjust pilot screws without speceial tool

Hi there,
I finally got my float valves and in process of completely rebuilding my carbs. Just a quick question. Is there a way to unscrew (adjust) pilot screws on F3 carbs without a special tool? Or where can I buy this tool? I dont want to wait if I buy it on Ebay or any other online store. Also I would nt like to spend $$$ on this damn tool if I buy it from a dealer. I found one on Ebay for around 17 bucks plus shipping but wouldnt like to hold on my project. I need the bike done ASAP to get it ready for a trip.
Thanks in advance

You can use a dremel and notch it. Then a flathead screwdriver will work

I just did this on my bike, went to the local hardware store and bought a 7/16" brass tube (about $2.00) used needle nose to bend one side flat (to make the "d" shape) and took my pilots out, then used a dremel to cut a grove in them to make future adjustments easier.
