Default Pilot screws

Ok I have looked but I don't get it. How do I adjust the pilot screws on the 2 & 3 carbs while the engine is running?????

Oh and the running lean problem is better I got the moulded gas line to replace the looped one and a filter to boot BIG DIFFERENCE but still acting lean. Time to recheck the floats and adjust the pilot screws. If anyone has any better ideas, or at least some advice on reaching the 2 & 3 screws, I will listen. Havn't been wrong yet!!

Thanks again,

If you're talking about the left side carbs, your guess is as good as mine.

If I rember right the pilote screws for 2 & 3 are directed inwards, opposite of 1 and 4, perhaps you can use a dentist mirror to locate and figure out how they can be accessed.

Thanks I am going to pull the carbs and take the screws out so I can spray em out and then get a better look. Then I will set them to 2 and a half out. Is that the best place to start? I live in Dallas (502 ft above sea level) Hopefully, I can adjust from there having a better feel for their location. I pulled the carbs and cleaned every thing I could clean without separating them, too chicken!! I did not dare pull the pilot screws because of some misinformation from a well meaning friend. Still not going to separate them.

Thanks I will let you know how it turns out.
