i have put some money on 1998 cbr600se as down payment, its the real replica, not one of those ebay plastics. the guy asked $3,800 for it and i got it down to $3,300 but i will try to get it even lower. bike might be old but it only has 7,500 miles on it. and also it looks like it has been dropped but no cracks just few scratches in a direction up and down. should i be concerned about that??? please let me know if im making a good decision..

Nice pickup. You would be paying a bit more than I paid for mine, and I saw a couple Smoking Joes F3's around for cheaper than that. But its not a horrible price IMO. If you can get him down to 3k that would be ideal.

i got him down to $3200 and the bike has only 7500 miles on it.
and as i looked through adds.. a lot of this bikes were fake.... i had a dealership check the vin number and it did come back as 600se. and thats thr real SJR. so im exited for this spring.

 

Got a pic of the scratches? It could be a still drop maybe accidently forgot to put the kickstnd down

 

on the right side of the bike.......and they do go up and down.......it looks like a very slow speed.... maybe a driver licence test... i have seen bunch of expensive bikes go down like that during the test.
