Help! Running issues
Hi all,
Got a few issues with my F3 Would greatly appreciate any suggestions and help if possible. Firstly, after replacing the regulator rectifier, and the battery, the High beam dash light doesn't work (although high beam itself works when switched on) and the neutral light keeps coming on and off, comes on fine usually and after 10 miles or so decides to stop working.
Second issue.. the bike starts first time perfectly, but after riding for maybe 20 mins or so and after stopping, I can come back to the bike and it wont start, only by leaving the fuel tap open for a few seconds with the ignition off and holding the throttle open for a bit with full choke before it finally splutters into life.
Any help at all would be massively appreciated please

Sorry I can't offer much to help but it does seem odd that Open Throttle and Closed choke would help you start it. Maybe a plumbing issue???
I had to look it up to confirm, but a closed choke restricts air allowing an enriched mixture, same as a closed throttle.
Okay I get it, you're doing this while engaging the starter? I think people used to refer to this as "cold-blooded" meaning the engine will start readily when cold but need coaxing when warm. May want to ask some other F3 owners if this is typical behavior. But check if the jetting is stock. I doubt most owners left the stock jetting in place.

Hi yes the starter is engaged whilst i hold the throttle on, its only happened recently in the past few weeks, and I've not ran the bike with the fuel cap open or had the tank off but i may remove it the coming week to try and see if theres anything obvious,
Thankyou for the suggestions so far
