float valves???
I don't think that is the problem since the idle mixture screw is after the floats. I think there could still be something interfering with the floats operation. It's hard to say without seeing.
right, nothing good is simple =) i took pictures last night but my SD card wasnt in the camera doh, i'll snap some tonight after school, maybe they will be able to tell you something!
I had a problem with my bike when I got it - fuel was leaking out of one of the brass jet things you can see in the air filter side of the carb. The problem was caused by a blocked starter jet (the one in the bowl that doesn't screw out). This I guess was causing a pressure inbalance which forced fuel out of the jet thingy at the carb inlet and was flooding that cylinder - not as bad as yours. Not saying that's the problem but it's an indication of what can Happen
same here, having the same issue.
The jets are all new, and new float valves as well.
Floats are original;, but are not leaking.
Starts fouling plug 1, then gradually does all of them.
My floats look higher than 13.7mm for sure, but I'm not young so could be my eyes lol.
Just blew air through all circuits of the carbs. Slides work properly as pressure is applied.
Nothing seams to be blocked.
Fuel filter is new, as is air filter.
Just waiting on some new O rings and seals to see if there was any issues there.
The bike is 22 years old, so its gonna have issues.
I bought mine as a running project, and now I've brought everything up too good level, the carbs prove to be the last hurdle......sigh

Yea your float valves are stuck open and it’s causing gas to flood and spill out the air inlets. Try Tapping LIGHTLY with hammer might unfreeze them. If not gonna have to pull carbs and the float bowl to see if it’s locked up or jus need to be cleaned a little more
Yes it is and a really common thing to happen. Usually starts to leak when you remove the carbs from the bike and start bumping the fuel lines. The O rings are hard as rocks and start to leak as soon as they are moved.
